PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Successful Transitions: Advocacy, Resources , and Training (START) is the CSD's transition program for students with disabilities enrolling at Centennial College.
START Smart is a three-day event and includes several components:
- Workshops on topics intended to ensure students are best prepared for success at Centennial College: self-advocacy, learning strategies, assistive technology, and more.
- Holistic development opportunities - recreation, stress management, and relaxation workshops
- Team building and leadership development - Meet other incoming Centennial students and connect with Student Leaders
- Fun! Field trip, games, accessible sports and more
