PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This camp is a unique applied learning 3-day, 2-night college experience for Aboriginal students in grades 6-8. It is designed to educate youth about college/university programs and future career opportunities. Participants experience living on a college campus, sleeping in college dorms, and hands-on participation in interactive workshops. Elders with historic and cultural values lead the cultural components that explore the distinct contributions of Aboriginal culture and heritage.
